Any One Interested?
The Red Cross offers a training course on Infant/Child CPR and basic first every third Wednesday of each month. The cost is $45 and it is a four hour class. Is anyone interested in taking this with me? With Christian having seizures and Emma and Christian both recently diagnosed with asthma, I would like more know how in case of an emergency. Let me know if you are interested and we can decide on which month works best for us.

Just Do It!!
I'm all about finding ways to make life more simple, and in my world, being organized helps make my life more simple. If everything has a place and is in it's place, I'm a happy momma. I've found some awesome sites that have tips and articles on how to get organized and stay on top of clutter.
Organizing Junkie did a monthly roundup last year that consisted of taking an area of your house each month and cleaning it completely up. This year she is doing something a little different. Each month you chose an area of your house that needs to be organized/cleaned. For example, January is your filing cabinet. I think she must have seen my house when she chose which areas to work on. I think I might also do last year's rooms this year. I did a few last year, but not as many as I should have or that I wanted to.
This site and this one also have some really good decluttering tips.
This is an awesome site I came across with some really good ideas.
I'm all about less clutter. I am in the process of going room by room and going through everything. The kids toys are my next undertaking; that will take me awhile. All the little toys you get in kid's meals drive me nuts!!
Here is to a new, organized, decluttered year! Good luck!! If anyone else has any ideas or things they do to organize their life, feel free to share!! :)

Girls Night Out
Before the announcement of the ward realignments, we were going to start doing a Girls' Night Out once a month. I would like to still do this. I'm curious to see who is all interested. We would go out to dinner once a month; going to different restaurants each time. The lunch bunch the ward had going looked fun, but since it was during the day, I could never go. I figure for dinner, we can leave the kids home with husbands, and those that work during the day can also go. If you are interested, please email me and let me know. (monikamb1@gmail.com) Also, if you have any suggestions for days, times or places to go, just let me know. I know we are all in different wards now, but I think this would still be fun and it would help us continue the great friendships we have made over the last few years.

Sewing/Craft Group
Terese Simpson and I have been getting together every other week to sew and/or do craft projects. We decided that if we motivated each other then we could actually finish every project that is stored in boxes and bins in our basements. So far we've completed Halloween costumes, Halloween decorations, the random article of clothing, etc. Next on the list is Christmas presents, painting, flower arrangements, more sewing, etc. If anyone would like to join us, we meet after school on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Bring the kids, they have a blast.
